Lutz is picturesque and delightful. The community has a distinctive suburban-rural feel with its slower pace, beautiful older homes, expansive lots, and preserved land. Many of Lutz’s communities are gated, elegant, and upscale, such as the fantastic community of Cheval. The Crenshaw Lakes area is also sought-after, having an even more rural vibe, large lots, and enormous lakes.

The Florida Avenue Brewing Company is the perfect place to visit for fun and delicious Florida-inspired food and excellent craft beer and cocktails. Cheval Golf and Country Club is home to The Tavern and King's Pizza, serving beer on tap and a variety of bar food favorites. ¡CUATRO Restaurant & Bar at the TPC Tampa Golf Club serves American favorites and is a popular gathering spot after a round of golf.
The Sacred Pepper is a popular upscale restaurant with a menu of modern American cuisine focusing on fresh, local ingredients. Brick City Eatery is a casual restaurant serving brick oven pizza, gourmet sandwiches, and salads. The Gallery Chophouse is an upscale addition to the dining scene with perfectly prepared steaks and fabulous cocktails in a restaurant with the sophisticated vibe of an art gallery.
Lutz is just a short drive from the excitement of the big city. Residents head to Tampa to cheer on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Tampa Bay Lightning. Downtown Tampa is also a terrific place to find nightclubs and live entertainment. Theater shows, ballets, concerts, musicals, and opera are enjoyed at The Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Closer to home, Whiskey North is a favorite place for drinks, dancing, and music.
Lutz is centrally located close to some of the best shopping in the Tampa area. Many favorite luxury brand shops and boutiques are within a short drive, including Gucci, Armani, and Kate Spade. Many shopping venues are located in Lutz and the surrounding towns and downtown Tampa. Popular destinations include The International Mall, Westshore Plaza, Citrus Park Mall, The Grove at Wesley Chapel, and Tampa Premium Outlet Mall.
The upscale communities in Lutz enjoy an almost endless list of resort-style amenities. People can take long walks along the gorgeous, well-manicured streets of their neighborhoods. Within those fabulous neighborhoods, residents congregate at the community clubhouses, fitness centers, beautiful pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, dog parks, and miles of hiking and biking trails.

One popular park, Lake Park, has outstanding amenities, including horseback riding trails and a horse arena, hiking and biking trails, playgrounds, a BMX trail, a jogging track, a boat ramp, an archery range, plenty of open space, and even a remote control car track.
For some one-of-a-kind coastal adventures, families head west to places like the gorgeous Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, which offers manatee watching, swimming in Buccaneer Bay, and kayaking the river. While on the coast, folks enjoy Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks for natural sponges, diving, shopping, and Greek cuisine. Lutz is also close to some of the finest beaches in the world at Clearwater and St. Petersburg Beach.
